How to build an Aeroponic system, Step 2

The PVC pipe can be cut with PVC pipe cutters, a hacksaw or miter saw. The ratcheting type PVC cutter is the best tool for the job and costs about $15. Measure the inside of the tote about six inches down from the top and subtract about 6". The 6" that is subtracted accounts for the PVC tee and end caps which will add an additional few inches to the overall length when assembled. Divide this measurement in half and cut two pieces of PVC pipe to this length. Attach the PVC tee and end caps and test fit inside the reservoir. I like to have a pretty snug fit to help support the manifold.
