First log in or create an account and select "Create" from the top navigation bar. Then select "Members Projects Gallery" from the list of options. Fill out the "Title" and make sure you select "Members Project Pics" from the drop down menu labeled "Image Galleries". Write a short description about your project, browse and upload your pictures and click the "save" button.

Here is my system I made from your plans. Its a little different than per plan, I left the risers to the pots a little long. In case I want to make changes later. I also added a ball valve drain to drain it easier, Also i put in a nutrient level indicator. I plan to put a access on top of lid once I find the right thing to use. I used a 258 gph pump it works well. Thanks for the plans I plan to build other systems in the future. Craig.

Were you able to find plant pots without any drainage holes?

I went to several stores trying to find pots without holes, my pots only had 4 small holes and i was able to seal them easily. now I found pots with no holes after the fact. I ended up selling my system to someone who saw it on my porch. I want to make another one real soon, also thinking of ways to improve on it. Sorry it took long to answer back. Thanks alot Craig.

Where did you get them? I cant find any.. I use a piece of masking tape and hot glue to seal the holes. Works great but its a real pain in the butt...

Pots without holes

I'm building a system very similar to what is showing. I found pots without holes at Target, They're a little pricey * ($4.49 per pot but my wife works at there so we get a discount). They are a pain to cut the holes for the PVC. I first used a 1'' hole saw bit which was just too small for the 3/4" PVC pipe. I then used a 1 1/8" hole saw bit which was slightly too large but the pipe can be glued in place using a silicon waterproof caulk. The pots also have a strainer inside the pot that can be used to prevent roots from growing into the PVC pipe.
